Environmentally Sealed Battery Holders
The latest addition to Bulgin's range of battery holders are three front panel sealed versions.
Designed to provide dust and waterproof sealing to IP67, the new battery holders are available for AA, C and D size cells. Each is available in 1, 2 and 3 cell versions, the longer sizes incorporating an additional support bracket to help carry the extra weight.
Each holder is supplied with the necessary gasket and grommets to maintain the front panel sealing needed to preserve a sealed housing or panel. The bodies are moulded from UL94V-0 material and operating temperature is -30 to +70degC.
The AA cell holder, BXS011, is flange mounting with 4 fixing screws and a bayonet fixing cap with finger grip/coin slot. The C size, BXS001, has a single hexagonal nut fixing with screw, finger grip release cap. The D size, BXS016, is also flange mounting with 4 fixing screws and has a bayonet cap with finger grip release.
Applications for these will include portable equipment such as data loggers and communications equipment used in external environments where mains power is not available.
